Resource Management
Yennefer Admin의 자원 관리 화면입니다.
Resource management provides creation and management of resources (machines) to be assigned to groups. The resources created represent the available resources for each user in the group.
Resource List
Machine Name : The name of the machine that the administrator entered when creating the machine
CPU(Core) : CPU value entered during machine creation.
Memory (GB) : Memory value entered when creating the machine.
GPU Type : GPU type selected for the machine.
GPU Quantity : Number of GPUs you want to use (hyphen(-) is displayed for machines that do not select GPUs).
Associated Resource Group : Number of resource groups associated with that machine.
Associated Projects : Number of resource groups associated with that machine.
Management : Administration lets you delete machines. However, you can delete only if there are no resource groups and projects associated with that machine (resources). Machine modification is not possible when there are associated resource groups and associated projects.
1. Create Virtual Machine
The machine is allocated CPU, memory, and GPU resources that users can utilize.
The machine is associated with a project resource group to control the user’s utilization of computational resources
Click the “Create Machine” button on the right side of the resource list.
Enter a machine name in the machine creation modal. (Up to 15 characters including spaces)
Enter the CPU and Memory values available for the machine in System Resources. (Only integers greater than 1 can be entered)
If you want to use GPU resources, “activate” the toggle button.
When activated, a list of GPU options is displayed. After selecting the desired GPU type, select the number.
After completing the input, click the “Create” button. Created machines can be checked in the list.
※ Please note that if the value entered in System Resources is greater than the MAX value or if the number is not selected even if the GPU type is selected in GPU Resources, it cannot be created.
2. Modify virtual machine
If you click the machine name in the resource list, the virtual machine information modal is displayed in a state where input is not possible. At this time, if you click the edit button at the bottom, the input window is activated and you can edit.
When modifying, if essential information is omitted, please note that modification is not possible with an error message.
3. Delete virtual machine
In the resource list, click the “Delete” button of the resource that needs to be deleted.
It can be deleted if there are no connected groups and projects, otherwise it cannot be deleted.
Resource deletion is completed when the “Delete” button is clicked in the delete modal.
